Biography


Tara Thiele, LPC is a compassionate therapist at The Remedy Mental Health who provides individual therapy to clients navigating a wide range of mental health concerns. She earned her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Wisconsin–Stout. She also has an associate's degree from Chippewa Valley Technical College in Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counseling.

Tara has experience in outpatient, hospital, and group therapy settings, including leading an intensive outpatient program and supporting clients with co-occurring mental health and substance use concerns.

Her therapeutic style is warm and non-judgmental, while also encouraging clients to challenge themselves and grow into the best version of who they can be. She believes that self-care is not selfish but essential, reminding her clients that they are the most important person in their own lives and deserve to prioritize their well-being.

The most rewarding part of Tara’s work is seeing clients’ growth, strength, and progress. She views therapy as a collaborative partnership, creating a safe space where healing and hope can flourish.

Outside of work, Tara enjoys being outdoors, camping, going for walks, attending concerts, and watching movies with her kids. A vegetarian for more than 25 years, she embraces wellness in many aspects of her life.  On her bucket list is a dream trip to Paris. Her children’s happiness instantly makes her smile, and friends describe her as funny, sarcastic, and kind.
