As a Physician Assistant at The Remedy Mental Health, Steve Moore, PA-C, is passionate about helping patients find meaningful, lasting improvements in their mental health. With a unique background in integrative health, exercise physiology, and coaching, Steve takes a whole-person approach to care—focusing on how mental, emotional, and physical well-being intersect.
Steve earned his Bachelor of Science and Master of Education in Kinesiology from the University of Minnesota. He spent many years at Allina Health’s Penny George Institute for Health and Healing, where he served as lead clinical exercise physiologist and integrative health and wellness coach. During that time, he became a certified personal trainer, cancer exercise trainer, and health and wellness coach. His work centered on promoting resilience and mind-body healing, particularly through programs supporting weight management, cancer recovery, and chronic disease prevention.
Motivated to deepen his clinical impact, Steve returned to school and earned his Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of North Dakota. After gaining experience in orthopedics and sports medicine, he returned to his true calling—psychiatry—where he now brings a thoughtful, integrative lens to mental health care.
A lifelong Minnesotan, Steve lives in the Twin Cities suburbs with his three children. Outside of work, he enjoys playing sports (especially golf), staying active, and making memories with family and friends.
