Biography

Michaela Livingston, LPC is a compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor providing dedicated mental health services at The Remedy's Eau Claire location. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, both from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. With extensive experience in individual and group therapy, Michaela is adept at helping clients manage mental health and substance use difficulties through therapy.

Michaela has a rich professional background, having worked as a therapist at Prevea Behavioral Care from 2019 - 2024, where she conducted intake assessments, provided individual therapy, and facilitated a DBT skills group for adolescents. She has valuable experience in behavior modification, counseling, and crisis intervention.

Specializing in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and substance use counseling, Michaela focuses on helping clients develop healthy coping mechanisms and achieve their treatment goals. She is particularly passionate about working with adolescents and adults, assisting them in navigating emotional and behavioral challenges.
