Maria Sargent, CNP grew up in upstate New York, where she completed undergraduate education in Linguistics and then Nursing. She lived in several other states, including Alaska and Arizona, before settling in the Black Hills with her family. Maria received her master’s degree in nursing from George Washington University in 2018. After becoming a Nurse practitioner, she went on to work in the fields of cardiology, palliative care, and mental health.

Maria enjoys working with her patients through difficult times and celebrating their victories. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and cooking.
