Biography

Kristi Burdick, DNP, FNP-BC, APNP is a highly experienced Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner at The Remedy, specializing in addiction medicine and behavioral health. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Advanced Practice Nursing in Family Practice, both from Northern Michigan University. Kristi also has a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Oakland University.

With over two decades of diverse clinical experience, Kristi has worked in various healthcare settings, including inpatient withdrawal management at LE Phillips Treatment Center and addiction medicine at Prevea Health. She has been providing compassionate and comprehensive care to individuals struggling with addiction and behavioral health issues, emphasizing patient-centered approaches and evidence-based practices.

Kristi is also a Mental Health First Aid instructor and recently joined the WI Voices for Recovery Advisory Committee, reflecting her commitment to advancing addiction medicine and mental health services. Her extensive experience includes crisis intervention, risk assessment, and clinical supervision, making her a valuable asset to The Remedy's team.

Outside of her professional work, Kristi enjoys spending time with friends, family, and animals. She is passionate about fitness, including running, and loves cooking and promoting health and wellness in all aspects of life.
