Jessica Saunders, MSW



Jessica Saunders is a compassionate Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW) providing trauma-focused outpatient therapy at The Remedy MN, specializing in Ketamine and TMS treatments. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work and a Master of Social Work with a clinical focus, both from The College of Saint Scholastica.

Jessica has extensive experience in mental health and social work, having worked as a Mental Health Clinical Intern at DBT-PTSD Specialists, where she co-facilitated IOP-DBT skills groups and provided individual therapy for adults. Her background also includes roles as a Care Coordinator at Medica, where she managed care plans for adults on various health programs, and as a Contracted Case Manager for Anoka County's Developmental Disability Unit.

Jessica's therapeutic approach integrates Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Somatic Experiencing (SE), Attachment Theory, Relational Cultural Theory, and mindfulness. She is currently in the intermediate year of the Somatic Experiencing Practitioner Certificate Program and has completed intensive EMDR training. Jessica is dedicated to helping clients navigate their trauma and mental health challenges, ensuring a holistic and client-centered treatment experience.

Outside of her professional life, Jessica enjoys spending time with friends, family, and her dog. She also loves exercising and cooking, which contribute to her overall well-being and balance in life.
