Kendra Lorge, DNP, APRN, CNP, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with more than eight years of experience in behavioral health and psychiatric care. Her background includes inpatient psychiatry, community mental health, substance use treatment, behavioral health treatment, and outpatient psychiatric care.
Kendra takes a compassionate, patient-centered approach to care, creating a supportive and collaborative environment where patients feel heard and involved in their treatment. She considers each person's symptoms, physical health, individual circumstances, goals, and strengths when developing a treatment plan. She emphasizes shared decision-making, education, and open communication while carefully monitoring treatment response, medication effectiveness, and potential side effects.
Kendra earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Metropolitan State University, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the College of Saint Scholastica, and her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the College of Saint Scholastica.
She is passionate about helping patients navigate challenging periods in their lives and values building genuine therapeutic relationships that support meaningful, sustainable improvements in mental health and overall well-being.
Outside of work, Kendra enjoys spending time outdoors, working in the yard, tackling home improvement projects, hiking, and spending time with her husband and their two dogs, Bear and Gordon.
