Biography

Andrea Stankiewicz, DNP, APRN, CNP, PMHNP-BC is a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at The Remedy Mental Health. She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice degrees from The College of Saint Scholastica and is board-certified as a PMHNP through the ANCC.

Andrea specializes in treating ADHD, anxiety, and depression, including treatment-resistant depression. She is an experienced provider that brings both clinical depth and a deeply human approach to her work.

Her care philosophy is rooted in active listening, trust-building, and collaboration. Andrea takes a non-judgmental, individualized approach that empowers patients to take an active role in their treatment journey. She believes in creating a space where patients feel safe to voice their concerns and take meaningful steps toward healing.

Andrea has always had a passion for mental health care, but it truly took hold when she accepted a role in inpatient psychiatry shortly after nursing school. The impact she saw in patients’ lives quickly became a source of purpose and motivation—and today, she is driven to help reduce stigma and advocate for more compassionate mental health support.

Outside of work, Andrea enjoys diamond art, reading, and traveling and seeing acts of kindness instantly brings her joy and makes her smile.
